Coaching for Leaders of Volunteers

Work with me one-to-one to jumpstart your next initiative, get expert advice from someone who's been there, or get help solving an urgent problem. I'm here to support you on your volunteer engagement journey. â€‹â€‹â€‹

Investment: $108 USD + applicable taxes

How It Works

Regardless of your role, we can work together to overcome your challenges. Here's what my process entails:

Step 1

You describe the goal or focus of our coaching session. In the past, I helped clients to: recruit corporate groups using minimal resources, approach tough conversations with volunteers, realign processes with their values, and more.

Step 3

We connect on Zoom, where you'll have my undivided attention. We'll go through some possible solutions and adapt them for your situation together.

Step 2

I will prepare supporting resources ahead of our meeting, with ethical volunteer engagement principles in mind.

Step 4

You'll get a recording, transcript, and key takeaways from our conversation.

What My Clients Say

"It can be hard to know what to do if you're running an organization and tempted to rely on volunteers out of necessity. If this is you, I'd suggest having a conversation with Jessica. She's aware of the complexities and contradictions in doing our work while navigating issues of labour justice, and choosing when/how to resist vs being complicit (which we all have to do, every day)."

Jessica operates Learn with JPP in T’karonto. For thousands of years, T’karonto has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit.

Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and I am grateful to have the privilege to work on this land.

I call for the reconciliation of current injustices as well as those that have been carried out against Indigenous communities which include but are not limited to broken treaty relationships.

I encourage you to learn more about the traditional territories of the Indigenous Peoples where you live, work, and play using tools like native-land.ca.
