National Volunteer Week Services

Every April, organizations around the world celebrate Global Volunteer Month. In Canada and the US, this celebration often coincides with National Volunteer Week: a week of programming that highlights volunteer contributions.

Volunteers and other key non-profit stakeholders (e.g. donors, partners) have come to expect recognition of volunteer impact during this special week. At many organizations (especially those with high staff turnover or fiscal/ programming deliverables in the prior quarter), this leads to "mad scramble" campaign launches, disorganized event planning meetings, and uninspired generic thank yous. What's worse is when staff work long hours to execute National Volunteer Week activities, only to see low event attendance and campaign engagement.

Learn with JPP has the experience to help. Jessica has project planned, led, and project managed dozens of National Volunteer Week campaigns and events, and prepared staff with skills and collateral to say thanks in a meaningful way.  Get started with a deposit of only $100+ applicable taxes! Sliding scale pricing is available for Indigenous-led, Black-led, and volunteer-led organizations, please contact me for more details.

Jessica operates Learn with JPP in T’karonto. For thousands of years, T’karonto has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit.

Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and I am grateful to have the privilege to work on this land.

I call for the reconciliation of current injustices as well as those that have been carried out against Indigenous communities which include but are not limited to broken treaty relationships.

I encourage you to learn more about the traditional territories of the Indigenous Peoples where you live, work, and play using tools like native-land.ca.
